Research themes: Anne Devillers is an archaeologist currently working on Early Near Eastern glyptics (4th and 3rd millennia BCE) and on the paleo-zoological aspects of the large mammal fauna depicted in this medium in the framework of the BELSPO IAP 7/14 Greater Mesopotamia. She is also working on a PhD in this subject (ULB/MRAH). She is a member of the Tell Beydar (Syria) archaeological mission since 2005 and of the Elkab (Egypt) archaeological mission since 2010. She took part in field work at Apamea (Syria) and Tell Kazel (Syria), as well as in various excavations in Belgium.
