Duruyeh

Duruyeh

The site of Duruyeh is located in the Arkavaz district some 2 km of the village of Gulgul. In a time span of only three days, in September 1972 (8th expedition), Vanden Berghe and his team excavated nineteen cist graves in this cemetery. The burial goods, pottery, jewellery and metal weapons, suggest an early Iron Age date for this graves.
