Awazeh-Tulakahnam

 

The excavations at Awazeh-Tulakahnam, a graveyard located in the Chavar district near the village of Awazeh, were conducted in 1967 (3rd expedition). Six individual tombs were excavated during this test dig among which two cist tombs and four pit graves. Two of them contained pottery with characteristic feature of the Iron Age IIB. The burial goods include pottery, metal weapons and jewellery
